[14], Once freed from his cell, Impulse retreated to the Bio-Ship with the rest of the Team. Terms of Use [40], Kid Flash celebrated his sixteenth birthday with a "surprise" party at the Cave. He had a lean yet slightly muscular build. Back at the Cave, the three watched the news of how the Hook and Black Spider escaped custody and that Selena Gonzalez was still missing. While investigating, they encountered Mister Twister, and engaged him. Wally's film is repeatedly interrupted by the Captain Cold's insistence that Wally's version is a lie (claiming that he had benevolent intentions and that Barry's death was a tragic accident) – much to Wally's horror, the Captain Cold is given the authority to make changes to the film. Wally had one birthday wish, a kiss from M'gann. The heroes would use a computer virus provided by Lex Luthor to safely disable the disruptors. The Team attacked the culprit, Klarion, on a pentagram. But Artemis had, in his eyes, already proven herself. This article is about the first Kid Flash, Wally West. After the team landed and made an unsuccessful effort to locate the Tower of Fate, Aqualad used the key to unlock an invisible door that revealed the tower. Ultimately, everyone decided to choose Aqualad as leader. In some versions, like Young Justice, Wally uses these skills to recreate the accident that gave Barry his powers by himself, granting himself his own powers. They discovered Marvin was playing a prank on the guests, so came up with a counter-prank. Kid Flash left the team and gave up his superhero persona. He did not stop for a snack. This super-speed is derived from his mainline-connection to the Speed Force: a vaguely-defined extra-dimensional and infinite energy source from which most speedster heroes gain their powers. At the hospital, he attempted some small talk and flirting with Mattie Harcourt, but the resident just gave him the backpack, instructions and a timetable, and ordered him to get going. In "Usual Suspects", The Team watched the induction of five new Justice Leaguers, including Red Arrow. Impulse went after Icicle Jr. first. During a confrontation in the carpark, the Captain Cold's demonisation of Barry Allen is ended when he is killed by a lightning bolt (which Wally suspects may be divine intervention). In his debut as the Flash, Wally wears a distinct red and gold costume similar to Barry's, which, like his uncle, he traditionally stores compressed inside a ring. Kid Flash made it just in time to save Superboy from being crushed by Amazo. He too was invulnerable, so Impulse's punches had no effect. The fallout of the recent Darkseid War allowed Wally to try and reach out to his former friends in the hopes of either returning or warning them of the truth. The Flash attempted to carry Neutron away to explode safely outside the city, but Impulse tripped him. [46], Kid Flash and Artemis reported for duty at a Team briefing in the Cave. His Kid Flash uniform was yellow with red pants, red gloves, and yellow shoes, with a symbol of a red lightning bolt within a white circle on his chest. Bart declined to leave without seeing Kaldur, running to the ledge and avoiding a few blows before taking the alien tracking device from Kaldur. This is his first official animated appearance. Red Arrow went after Sportsmaster, while Wally and Artemis had to fend off Cheshire. Aqualad called a halt to the conversation just before the Team was ambushed by Grodd and his Kobra-Venom enhanced gorillas. However, Kid Flash (Wallace West) senses Wally's "death" and rushes to find him. The show’s star, Grant Gustin, expressed his anguish on Instagram Friday, posting a photo with Williams and actor Jesse L. Martin taken during the filming of the series pilot in 2014.
