The restraunt food was to die for especially the Irish sirloin steak but I have to say my favourite was The Wow burger food truck located on the grounds at the rear of the hotel and would highly recommend if you're staying trying it out especially the vinella shakes. Creggan Court Hotel is a central hotel, 2 miles from Athlone town centre and close to the N6 motorway. The Porterhouse Bar is great as well, drink very reasonable n they give u large bottles minerals to use for your short drinks at no extra charge.

loved that if i needed anything the phone was always there for help, lovely staff and leisure centre was lovely and relaxing and food was delicious and really enjoyed it rooms were lovely and warm and so was the water for the shower, It was a pity that I went to Athlone at a wrong time for you can see loads of places flooded from the typhoon...hopefully they can recover from it fast....Atlone is a small nd nice town...it is good for night out...loads of pub and bars in every corner...love to walk around town...walk really late around11pm and you will feel safe, Very relaxing,lovely food in restaurant had dinner 2 nights,but third night very disappointed with bar food husband had pulled pork for16.95 all it was tiny bit meat on Hugh bap I had sizzling fiatas which didn't sizzle and only tasted fair all in all we enjoyed few days but wouldn't eat in bar again, I stayed here for one night while attending a conference in the Athlone Springs Hotel.
