and sandoval is a wonderful artist and great trumpet player. Also, as far as the remixes go, and I am not one to listen to techno, I think they are the best techno pieces I've heard this year. Unlike that other one, this cue only has two versions on the demos so there's less to compare this against. I honestly hope this wasn't Hans' decision, because if he doesn't accept the fact that this is an atrocity, a total gang rape of an otherwise (hopefully) enjoyable score album, then I'm seriously losing respect for the guy. Version) O.S.T. Johnny Depp returns to his iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow in an action-packed tale of truth, betrayal, youth and demise. Angelica's music was non-existent. You really should listen to non-zimmer composers. What I'm disappointed about is that (as far as I've heard from the samples) Rodrigo y Gabriela's tracks aren't more incorporated with Zimmer's style. I am here only to give thanks to Hans for bringing to the world his talent. In fact, the only two notable new themes in the score seem to be Blackbeard's theme, a heavy, pulsing cue, and the Mermaid theme which is little more than an expansion on an older theme from the Pirates series. Hope it all works out fine. There's only so much you can do to musical themes before they become repetitive. Aint dat always da way tho? Maybe using a lot of temp track also meant having to pay less to Hans and his team? me included. But the music...wasn't. The follow up came blasting in with new themes like Jack Sparrow, Kraken, and Davy Jones to work with so it was also pretty great. A lot of things can happen from now until post production of the new pirates. I certainly hope so as well. He knows how the series "sounds" and will probably continue it faithfully. Mais boitier cassé. That being the case, Hybrid, maybe Hans would recommend that Geoff to Disney. Don't get why other countries have to wait till the 17th? From what I could tell they featured in 2 cues, the first being palm tree escape (and that was brief, the he's a pirate guitar reprise that occurs on the track on the album had no guitars in the mix in the film) and the end credits piece which was the same as on the album. Now I really can't wait for the other complete tracks! After all the problems they had with OST wanting to temp-track it they wouldn't call someone outside RCP in order to do it, right? If not I hope he at least helps out with writing some of the music or something with the music if he does not compose. I assume you'll only hear the Spanish theme(s) and sounds when Spain is on screen and it's characters are interacting with the other characters. Therefore he's really got nothing to add to this, and I can see. Does the "Spanish theme" 10. Even they choose the writers. Yeah, expectations for this release just plummeted. The new themes can be listened through R&G tracks and also behind Zimmer new rythm of POTC themes. Maybe that's what Hans is aiming for, a more traditional swashbuckling score. A Decent, Though Slightly Disappointing Addition, Reviewed in the United States on June 8, 2011. this reboot should get at least a lil different musical voice... ;), Did you guys notice the latest behind-the-scenes video of Star Citizen. I see what you are all saying about the remixes, but the other soundtracks were short and lacked remixes. This next movie they want to keep it good. Dead Man Tell No Tales:). It's in Conan the Barbarian by Poledouris as well. Not to mention that he was the one person who enjoyed doing POTC4, allegedly, so if he enjoys doing this one, too, that will probably affect the score as a whole in a positive way. Sheesh, and I thought Tiesto's 'creation' for Dead Man's Chest was already too much... Wow, Angelica sounds amazing!!! This movie is supposedly a movie Johnny Depp wanted to make as a "thank you" to his admirers and because he feels like he owes us, for he believes that the last two had too many subplots and I sort of agree with him. You'll be very grateful !!! This news is in many famous web sites. Praise Christ the Lord...In my opinion, I think it would still be wise to simply cancel it, but even a careful move like this is good in my book. I really hope they posted the worst 30 secons, and everything else is awesome. 7 commentaires: Unknown a dit… Wow! Zimmer has provided us a niece action-adventure score suitable for a fourth Pirates film. On Stranger Tides (2:44) Hans Zimmer, Geoff Zanelli, Eric Whitacre End Credits (1:59) ... Plus, Rango and Pirates of the Caribbean On Stranger tides are two different movies, so i'm sure it'll turn out just fine. Well, I've just seen the film. :/. I keep pushing the replay button, http://www.spinner.com/2011/04/29/hans-zimmer-rodrigo-y-gabr iela-pirates-of-the-caribbean/. Après RANGO, Hans Zimmer retrouve donc les guitares mexicaines pour une partition sous le signe de la musique latino. The length of the track is 6 minutes and 40 seconds. I don't think Hans Zimer would go to far with the Trumpets in Pirates 4's music. if bruckheimer is really still involved, it could be also a good chance to get trevor rabin. I went to it. We've seen HZ changing his mind before... Won't make any difference if you have the same cowardly executives. Trust me from Geoff's word, doing P5 would be a dream come true for him... :). Veuillez réessayer. It's official, duration of the movie: 2h21. Would've been interesting if they were in the film. Album will be released on may 13th! Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is a 2011 American fantasy swashbuckler film, the fourth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series and a standalone sequel to At World's End (2007). Also, if including three virtually useless remixes on the Dead Man's Chest album wasn't bad enough, Walt Disney Records has cluttered this album with seven new and equally useless remixes. ;). Only 33 days for the movie to come out!!!! Will Disney hire an RCP member who worked on the others or will they get someone else? So, I'm not sure if this is a confirmation, but Joachim Ronning just posted a photo on Instagram of Geoff Zanelli working on some music for Pirates 5. i liked what he did in Lone Ranger, so hopefully itll be fun. Original soundtrack to the 2011 blockbuster featuring Hans Zimmer and Rodrigo and Gabriela. I am not going to say that he wasn't involved in this film, for I am sure he was. It's been used in a ton of Zimmer/mv/rc scores as well as by other non-rc composers. There's a problem loading this menu right now. Again, it's the Studio's choice. Album plus que parfait, compositeur !!! The soundtrack for the new Pirates of the Caribbean is very disappointing: lots of recycling. I think he doesnt have the heart to say no to people he likes.... like in this case Jerry Bruckheimer. POTC1 Is My 3rd favorite of the 4 scores The last being this one. Cela n'a plus rien à voir avec l’atmosphère des films, or c'est justement ce qui m'intéressait dans ce CD (cela vaut aussi pour les 3 autres CD de Pirates des Caraïbes). Impossible d'ajouter l'article à votre liste. In general, yes there is a lot of the old stuff, and the R y G pieces are not as amazing as I had hoped them to be, but they are growing on me. There is any chance of a HZ score now that new directors were hired? So was that just Hans being polite? Hope one of hans buddies will score it or maybe he will change his mind and do it.....don't think so haha. It wouldn't be a POTC score without him. I think those ideas would've been fleshed out more. But because of the above "musical theme" reason, I am surprisingly relieved that this album didn't turn into a 75 minute Brian Tyler excessive type score.
